slow and...

steady zine is coming along fucken slow but thats how it is...if it was like other zines it would be done and out..but its kind of different...just have to wait and see..im waiting on a printer to arrive in the post we got off ebay so i can do some test prints and than ill decide what size it will be...either A6 or the size of a cd booklet..im trying to work it so each interview is grouped on either 2 - 4 pages and the text all has to fit..I thought id do small interviews with less questions, but turns out i talk to much and my questions are to long, and some of the answers iv got are good and long too...so its turning out to be a bit of work..

Iv also decided to release it with a cd comp ill put together myself, with a track from each of the bands i have interviewed assuming they give me permission..so far everyone iv asked has so thats really good...

reason im doing the comp cd is that Iv also decided im going to donate ALL the money from the zine to charity for teenage suicide prevention...i had the idea of calling a band suicide control years ago..the zine could be called suicide control but i decided on steady a while ago coz its one word and i dig it..

there will only be 83 issues of the zine, and about 20 or so are gonna be sent out to the bands iv interviewed so that leaves not many to buy, ill do em all by paypal i think or might send a few to each state to distro...they will be cheap i think, probably around the $5 mark..

I also need to get my shit together and send the remaining interviewees my questions...so that should happen in the next couple of days i hope..

anyway im putting a bit of effort into this and i hope it turns out well...and i hope people dig it..iv got another idea, and im gonna write it here so if anyone else does it they read it here and stole the idea off me...

a zine..that is 12 interviews...one for each month of the year..that is also a calender....yeah i reckon that would be cool to shit on the toilet and be able to read an interview at the same time and know what day of the month it is as well...if i do another zine..thats what it will be...fuck the haters..its a good idea hahaha...and if its already been done than that sucks because i have never seen it but i dont care because i have never seen it..

2009 draws upon me...im going to camp at the woodford folk festival so the computer is gonna stay at home...happy days..2009 is gonna be a good year..

i turned 25 the other day too...never felt better!
